Purpose of Freon Services in Commercial HVAC

The purpose of freon services in commercial HVAC is to maintain the non-combustible freon gas that serves as a refrigerant in an HVAC system. Freon undergoes a series of evaporation processes over and over again to help produce cool air that is circulated throughout an AC system. It travels to evaporators which convert it back to a low-pressure freon gas. HVAC technicians refill and recharge freon in commercial HVAC systems.
